I grew up in Cuernavaca surrounded by gardens, afternoon light and stories told around the table. Since I was a boy I was fascinated by how a single instant — a glance, a held-back laugh — can say more than any word.

When I first picked up a camera I understood that this was my place: in the silence of observing, waiting for the exact moment when two people forget that someone is watching them. That's how I started, more than eight years ago, documenting weddings with an editorial and cinematic eye, but always from the truth of what happens.

Today I travel across Morelos and all of Mexico to tell love stories. Fewer poses, more truth: I let moments happen and capture them so you can return to them again and again.
